As integral part of KSCSI, students and teachers alike gather together per department to give time to worship and to study the word of God. Each department, from both campuses (Main and Fairview Campuses) spent time to worship God by singing songs of praises and by listening to His word last July 14, 2017 as the “First Worship Day”. It was a simultaneous event for each department, giving 1 to 2 and half hours of worship. It was a great experience worshipping together our one and only God and hearing encouragements and bible stories from different speakers. Preschool and Primary students enjoyed their bible stories and coloring activities, while the Intermediate and Secondary students spent time sharing with their small groups. Also, some awards were given per department.
In the afternoon, KSCSI teachers and staff also had their own corporate worship. Selected staff testified about how God used and sustained them in the ministry of KSCSI. An encouragement was made by the school principal, Ms. Eliza Ebrada about going back to the Word, after; staff was separated for breakout groups to share their personal walk with the Lord.
In the end, students and teachers were refreshed to hear God’s word and empowered to exalt Jesus more and more in their daily lives.
