It has been the practice of KSCSI to conduct prayer day before a new school year commences, and for this school year 2017-2018,the prayer day was conducted last June 9 at KSCSI Hall. This was attended by the KSCSI Staff from both campuses: Main Campus and Fairview Campus and SSC Church Pastor and members headed by Ptr. Herman “Bong” Rosales.
The program went on smoothly as it follows the simple pattern of ACTS of prayer: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. Each part was led by each department. We also reminisced all the prayers that were answered last school year alongside with the prayers that were not answered directly but because of His goodness, God has blessed us with something unexpected. Also, a meaningful encouragement about perseverance was led by the Board of Trustees Treasurer, Mr. Jose Salvador II.
As the prayer day progressed, each felt the presence of the Lord as we prayed for one another, for the school needs and daily operations, for the provision for operational expenses, for each student and their families, and for the school’s direction, leaders, and staff.
Indeed, it was more than the simple pattern of ACTS of Prayer but it was really about the ACTS of God, what He can do for who HE is. As long as we pray together and believe in His name, God has a lot of ways to answer it, just be ready to receive it with your hand outstretch to the heavens and your heart bows down to Him.
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24 (NIV)
