As the summer break ended, teachers resumed their work yesterday, May 3, 2017. It was a fun filled day because a new school year has come. Teachers had their catch up time and sharing their memorable experiences last summer with their families and friends.
It was really good to start the school year with a prayer and it must be so to start it right. The teaching staff from both campuses (Fairview Campus and Main Campus) gathered together to celebrate and give thanks to our Lord for the success of SY 2016-2017 and the journey of the coming SY 2017-2018. The praise and worship was led by Mrs. Carina Aguilar and Mr. Nico Alex Virtucio. Worshiping Him with your co-worker was a delight and it set the mood of everyone in listening to what God wanted to say through our beloved Principal, Ms. Eliza G. Ebrada as she led the devotion. She talked about our theme for this year, “Gear Up KSCSI.” As Hebrew 12:1-3 being our guiding principle in gearing up all for God’s glory. Truly, we have to recommit our work to our Lord Jesus Christ and have a focused vision to endure difficulties, enjoy all circumstances, and to make us excel. Her testimony was also an encouragement for all of us. We are excited to witness again what God is going to unfold this School Year 2017-2018.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
